2021 BMW iX3 – The first prototypes of an electric version of the BMW X3 were spotted. The vehicle, which should be called iX3, has been confirmed to be launched at the end of 2020, which means we’ll probably see it coming in 2021.

The iX3 Concept looks like an X3 with the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept grille. This is a new version of the BMW twin-kidney grille, which will probably not be well suited to fans, given the change in traditional design. But we would not be surprised to see the grille and other styling elements of the Concept iX3 refer to the production model.
2021 BMW iX3 Engine
An electric motor powers the iX3 Concept with 270 horsepower, while a 70-kilowatt-hour battery pack provides 249-mile battery life. This is measured on the European WLTP test cycle, so the US EPA figure might be a little different. The DC fast charge allows almost full charge in about 30 minutes.
When it comes into production, the all-electric version of the X3 will mark a milestone for BMW. The German automaker was one of the first to take a serious interest in electrification, with the plug-in hybrids i3 and i8. But both cars are radically out of the norm in terms of style and design, winning BMW praise but also limiting sales potential.
