According to some recent information that our team has got, the lovers of luxurious sedans can start looking forward to the new Maserati Ghibli that has been on its way to hit the roads as a 2019 Maserati Ghibli model. You should expect some significant changes and updates, especially under the hood, where the company will collaborate with Ferrari once again.
When it comes to exterior of the 2019 Maserati Ghibli, this model is going to make its appearance as a four-door luxurious sedan. It has already been compared to the Quattroporte in terms of look, but the new Ghibli will get smaller dimensions than its cousin. The first thing that you will probably notice on the new Ghibli will be its longer and lower front end and its raised rear end. A front end like this will only help this model enhance its aerodynamics. Speaking of the front fascia, it will proudly wear its large vertically-slatted grille with lots of chrome details that will give this model more elegant look. You will also find its thin cat-eye shaped full LED headlamps. The raised rear part, on the other hand, will seem sportier and more dynamic. The new Ghibli should stand on standard 18-inch wheels.
Inside the 2019 Maserati Ghibli, you will find the ultimate comfort and luxury. No major changes will be made, but some minor updates and refreshments could still be noticed. The seats will be comfortable, supportive and 8-way power-adjustable, at least in higher trim levels. In those higher trims, the company will also use some high-quality materials such as carbon fiber, aluminum, wood and leather. The cabin will perfectly combine its traditional luxurious and elegant features with the sporty ones. The technology inside this car will also be upgraded so the driver can expect an 8.4-inch touch-screen center console with the latest infotainment system and features such as dual-zone climate control, a 15-speaker audio system and USB ports. Some of the advanced safety systems and driver assist features that this sedan will include as standard are adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, blind spot alert, lane departure warning and forward collision warning.
The base model of the 2019 Maserati Ghibli will come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 on which the company will collaborate with Ferrari. This engine is expected to provide the output of 345 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and get a rear-wheel drive system. The other option, found in those top performance-oriented trims, will deliver 404 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Here, an optional all-wheel drive system will be available as well.
