For the year 2017, the Honda CR-V underwent a total overhaul that included a new look, albeit a recognizable, and new turbocharged engine. As the New Year approaches, we look forward to the 2019 Honda CR-V, which we expect to be postponed, except for possible powertrain updates.
Honda CR-V Redesign 2019
In its latest redesign, the CR-V receives a striking new look, but is still familiar to fans. This has retained the basic shape and proportions of the previous model, but the details have been fixed. With this look still quite fresh, it is expected to remain the same for 2019.
The front end of the new SUV will be redesigned, the front bumper of this model will be aerodynamic and will have LED fog light and air intake. The front grille of the new 2019 Honda CRV will be smaller than its predecessor but will be more modern and more beautiful. The new compact front and rear crossover lights will be redesigned and will receive new modern LED lights. It is also expected that the total weight of this model will be reduced due to the use of aluminum and carbon fiber, so the performance and fuel economy will be further improved. The new 17-inch wheels will also be on the new 2019 Honda CR-V wheels.
Interior CR-V 2019
Honda says the seven-seater CR-V with third row seats will have first class access and space for the most remote seats. Externally, it grows in all directions to accommodate extra interior space. Hodgetts said the adoption of the seven seats would be “lower than what might be thought,” but added that many customers have been wondering why the brand does not offer seven seats.
Ground clearance cars reach up to 208mm for 4-wheel drive gasoline cars, helping Honda claim to be a true off-road potential. The technological highlights on the new CR-V include two 7.0-inch screens – one not the traditional button and the other serving as the main infotainment screen. Liftgate power also has a system that prevents door scraping the low ceiling.
Engine Specs CR-V 2019
The range of engines will be taken from the current generation, and this means that the Honda CR-V 2019 will have a direct injection of the famous 1.5L and 2.4L four-cylinder, both of which offer around 185 HP. It looks like Honda will try and offer a third unit with 2019 MY, and according to a lot of online speculation, it could be a plug-in hybrid. Honda is expected to combine a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery that is also used in the new Honda Accord Hybrid. It will be capable of generating 212 hp which will give the car a tremendous amount of power. According to some rumors, hybrid version is also expected to hit the US market. Transmission, on the other hand, is not a mystery and it will be the choice between a six-speed manual transmission or CVT, and only the top trim will offer AWD Distribution.
CR-V Safety Features 2019
Safety will be one of the hallmarks of 2019 Honda CR-V. Although the basic model does not offer some advanced features, we can find it safely. But, from the EX trim level, everything will make the trip feel comfortable. The award-winning Honda Sensing Suite adds some additional features. The 2019 season model will focus on lane departure warnings and emergency braking systems. In addition, we’ll see new features, and we can not rule out some kind of autonomous driving function or auto parking.
CR-V Prices and Release Date
Since there is no official release date at this time, we expect to see it by the end of 2018. Since this may be a carryover, the price of the petrol model will remain almost identical to the current price range. $ 25,125 to $ 35,025 (including destination fee).
