Audi has always been known as a brand that produces some quite powerful and iconic models, often related to F1 cars and great historic race events. One of them has certainly been the R10 that has been planned to hit the market as a 2019 Audi R10 model. This hybrid super car is definitely a step closer to the future.
The 2019 Audi R10 is going to hit the market as a two-door hyper car with futuristic and unique body design. This sports car, as we have already mentioned, has been largely inspired by the R10 Le Mans racer and other F1 older models. That’s why it has such aerodynamic and arrow-shaped body. Some would say that this model has also been based on the R8 model, but the new R10 will be way too upgraded and innovative. In fact, the first difference is that it will get smaller dimensions than the R8. It has also been said that the carmaker will use some lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber in its chassis construction. The weight loss can only boost its already powerful and amazing acceleration, efficiency and performance. The front fascia of the new R10 will wear small grille of unusual and futuristic design. Its headlights will show some sharp edges and they will use the latest LED technology. The fans will probably love the glass roof panel that provides some amazing panoramic view.
The interior of the 2019 Audi R10 will provide two seats. Its futuristic cabin will be placed forward so that the carmaker could put the engine in the rear part of the vehicle. Honestly, there has been a certain lack of information when it comes to interior of this supercar, but one thing is for sure – it will perfectly combine those sporty and race-inspired features with the sophisticated and luxurious ones. The cabin of the new R10 has been mostly compared to the one seen inside the Porsche 918, but there will be some differences, of course. All in all, you can expect an innovative, modern and comfortable cabin, equipped with some latest high-tech features and advanced safety systems.
The 2019 Audi R10 will come with a 4.0-liter TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine that will hit more than 900 horsepower in combination with an electrical engine. It will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and get an all-wheel drive system. We will let you know as soon as we get more information about this super hybrid.
