2019 Acura MDX Review, Price, Changes, Redesign

Great news is coming from the 2018 New York Auto Show where the new Acura MDX made its official debut. Namely, this luxury crossover is bringing some serious improvements although it has recently been updated for the year 2017. However, it has now been on its way to hit the market as a 2019 model.

The 2019 Acura MDX is going to hit the showrooms as a mid-size luxury crossover. As we have already mentioned, this three-row family SUV has undergone some recent refreshments so you should expect most of its exterior features such as grille and headlights to remain unchanged. Also, the whole vehicle is going to seem visually identical to its predecessor. However, this is only the first impression since the new MDX will still show some significant rework in the front and rear fascia. First of all, this crossover will appear more aggressive and sportier than before. You will notice its dynamic and athletic body design and lots of chrome details. Looking at the side profile, the new MDX will stand on ten-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels. In the back part of the vehicle, you will find wider exhaust tips that give this model much sportier look.

The interior of the 2019 Acura MDX can be described as innovative and luxurious. This crossover will provide three rows of comfortable seats that will be covered in red or black stitched leather. The driver will also get a thicker sports steering wheel and sports pedals. Besides overall comfort, this carmaker will also improve its high-tech features. You will get two touch screen displays with the infotainment system and standard Apple Car Play and Android Auto. When it comes to safety systems and driver assist features, some of them include adaptive cruise control, airbags, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking.

Under the hood of the 2019 Acura MDX, you will get a 3.5-liter V6. Such an engine is expected to deliver the output of 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The new Acura MDX should also get the super handling all-wheel drive system.
